Bradley's obituary
“Uncle B,” as he was known to his nephews, nieces, and the children of friends – kids who became his own, Brad was generous to a fault. It would take volumes to recount the stories of Uncle B’s outings to the theme parks, the zoo, movies, entertainment complexes, the fair, wildlife parks, camps, sports, and civic events. His love for life, laughter, family, and friends was second only to his commitment to Jesus Christ and his devotion to missions and discipleship-related ministries. In addition to his personal ministry projects, Brad was an active supporter of the Navigators, East-West Ministries, Campus Crusade, and multiple camp ministries such as Kanakuk’s K-1, K-2, and K-West camps, sending literally dozens of “his kids” to Missouri for more than 20 years.
Brad is survived by his three siblings (Mrs. Patricia Ray Warren of Dyersburg, TN; Dr. Brent S. Ray of Fort Worth, TX; and Mrs. Penny Ray Tietze of Fort Worth, TX), six nephews and nieces, a treasured extended family, countless loved ones, friends, and ministry partners.
The memorial service For Bradley Stephen Ray will take place on Sunday, October 21st at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Meadows Baptist Church, located at 3001 Los Rios Boulevard in Plano, Texas. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the Navigators “Discipleship Library” project via https://discipleship-library.….
