Happy Birthday Bob (barely belated).

Miss you bud.

Bobby was such a great Scout Master and friend. He always told told it like it is and was never afraid to admit the Dutch oven from cobbler this weekend just needed to be put to the curb!! Thank you Bobby for all you have done and the wonderful memories you have given us.

Bob was a very good friend, and co- worker, sub that I had in the construction business.  He was always there for me, when I needed help, advice, or coordinating what we needed to get the job done, not only on a timeline, but as professional as we could be. He was not just a friend, he made me feel like family on the road. You guys smile, he was a exceptional man, father, and husband.

Bob was a joy to be around. I met him at one of Caleb's performances and he was a man so proud of his son and the man he has become. He will be missed by all who knew him and all my hugs and prayers go out to his family who feel Bob's loss so deeply.
Such a great and extraordinary fella! Praying for the ones he left behind ❤

Whether wearing tennis shoes to his wedding or sharing the viking hat at his, Gary's and Jeff's trailer in the late 1970's? Early 1980's? (My, how time has flown) Bobby was always the one with the twinkle in his eye. At the end of a man's life perhaps the greatest things that can be said are 1) He knew and loved Jesus and is with Him forevermore, 2)He was a great husband and Father and made positive, everlasting impacts in the lives of his wife and children, 3) He loved his family and 4)He loved his friends. Why God allows some to live extraordinarily long lives while He takes others so soon we will not know until we, too, arrive in heaven but that is not the long lasting point. We have all heard before but it is so true: on our  tombstone monuments is a date of birth and a date of death. The dates are not important. What matters is the dash in between. What did each of us do while we were here? Bobby Rains' "dash through his earthly life" mattered, made a long lasting positive impact and was filled with love and too many to count memories. He resides now with Jesus. To Cousin Charlotte and Caleb, Kristin Nicole, Maddy to all who loved him, miss him and cannot believe he is no longer here. You are loved. You are being prayed for. You were blessed to call him "Husband, Dad or Friend." Bobby will never be forgotten. Trust in the four greatest friends you have right now: Jesus, Your Memories, Your Family and Friends and Time. You will see Bobby again. Until then, live as he would have wanted you to: with love, laughter, beautiful memories, an occasional tear and the hope and expectation of tomorrow.  I love you all.

So so sorry for your loss.  I pray that you remember the good times to help you through this heart breaking time.  I love you.
So sorry for your loss. Bob was freakin hilarious and never boring. His wandering spirit will be missed and remembered.
