Happy Birthday Bobbi!  Missing you on your birthday - missing you everyday.  Much love to all of your family and friends who are remembering you on your birthday.
Bobbi was remarkable, intelligent and beautiful. A wonderful mother and daughter. I will miss her very much.
Bobbi was an amazing woman, and though her life was far too short-she made a positive impact on the world. I'm grateful to have been a part of her journey.

I'm incredibly sorry for your loss. Seeing Bobbi at the various industry conferences was always a highlight of mine as she shared an authentic, beautiful energy.

Bobbi was special.

Bobbi was a champion. Earlier this year, thanks to Bobbi, my career at Aramark leapt forward. I was not promoted, but rather I was included. Bobbi was a vocal champion of mine, and her advocacy led me to take on a more significant leadership role within the Workplace Experience Group, which has been a privilege and a joy. And that is just me – yet Bobbi was a champion of so many! Whether she was introducing someone to you, or privately sharing her thoughts about someone, she would always share the most positive attributes of that person, with a such sense of caring and appreciation.

Bobbi was supportive. There was no better feeling than being greeted with Bobbi’s broad smile and warm hug. She made you feel like you were the most important person in the world when she spoke to you. She was quick to ask you how you were and take an interest in you. Anytime I was with Bobbi, I always stood a little taller and felt better about myself.

Bobbi was a leader. I was privileged to witness Bobbi’s leadership in action earlier this year at her West Region Leadership Summit. Boy, did she put on a good show! She rallied a team of many different functions, personalities, and generations. Through a combination of trainings, thoughtful discussions, delicious tastings, and strategic direction, Bobbi’s West Region leadership team left the meeting empowered and enthused. And through the purposeful time we spent together (with lots of fun sprinkled in), she helped build a strong sense of camaraderie within the team that I have seen spread across the region.

Bobbi was insightful. Bobbi was proponent of the Taylor Hartman Color Code personality assessment. I now know that I am a YELLOW, with a RED secondary color! Not only did the Color Code assessment reach into my soul and tell me things about myself that only I knew, but Bobbi was ready with a strategy for how to leverage my strengths and address my weaknesses. She did this for her whole leadership team. And she was even constantly reassessing herself. Bobbi cared not just about people, but about each person individually and embraced them for who they each were.

Bobbi was my Accountabilibuddy. When Bobbi set goals and an action plan, she wanted to ensure there was commitment and follow-up, and encouraged others to do the same through accountability. I was honored that Bobbi asked me to be her Aramark accountability partner, and offered to be mine. Though, in true Bobbi-fashion, we were not accountability partners, we were “Accountabilibuddies”! From then on, we had regular calls and check-ins to ensure we were each supporting the others professional goals, talking through problems and offering solutions, and just being a sounding board to talk through issues. There was no one better at this than Bobbi.

To Bobbi’s family and friends: I am so, so sorry for your loss. If there is anything you need, ever, please do not hesitate to reach out. I will always be there for you, because Bobbi would always be there for me.

Bobbi was special. Because she made you feel special. She definitely made me feel special, and I will miss her dearly. She was just the best.

Bobbi’s friend and colleague, Chris Varano

I had the privilege of getting to know Bobbi while she was pursuing her Executive MBA at Michigan State. She was a standout student both inside and outside the classroom. One of my fondest memories of her was during the Global Marketplace residency in Costa Rica/Panama. She exuded a genuine joy and contentment, especially when interacting with Dean, and it was clear how proud she was to be a Spartan.

Please know that my thoughts are with Dean, Rylan, and all of her family/friends as you navigate this challenging time.

I love this picture of Bobbi. She is in her zone; sharing, learning and growing, herself and those around her.
Bobbi was instrumental in my son Dane Mackelprang's success at Noodles & Co.  She was a friend and also an encouraging and caring boss to him. In addition, she wrote a letter of recommendation for him when he left the Aurora Noodles.  I'll never forget her thoughtfulness and kindness.  I know she'll be dearly missed by her family and friends, and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Bobbi had a habit of telling me the things I didn't want to hear at the moments that I needed to hear them. Whether it was through conversation or through a book suggestion she made herself heard. I tried to stay distant during many of those conversations, but she had a talent for getting me to open up and share. She helped me see that there is beauty in imperfection and a had a bigger impact on who I am professionally then I ever got to share with her.
