Blanche was a sweetheart, very warm, and humble. It was a pleasure knowing her and working with her.  Many years ago, she invited me to her home in Arlington, Va.
I, too, had the pleasure of teaching with Blanche for many years at Emory. Every Spring my spirits were  lifted by seeing her bright smile. It was infectious and made everyone around her feel just plain good. She was admired by colleagues and students alike. For me the program will not be the same without her. My condolences to her beautiful family.
I had the pleasure of working with Blanche for a number of years at the Emory Trial Techniques program.  I deeply appreciated her dedication to teaching the next generation of lawyers.  The Emory students benefited enormously from her experience, insights, and guidance.   I have to say, the pictures you've posted on this site perfectly capture Blanche's winning smile.  We will miss her in person, but remember her in our memories.
I had the pleasure of working with Blanche at Emory University College of Law for several years where we both served as adjunct law professors in the Trial Techniques Program.   Blanche was not only a skilled instructor, but was also kind and patient with the students especially while communicating her critiques of their performances.  I enjoyed working with Blanche very much and extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends.  May she Rest in Peace.  Sincerely, Betty Butchko Sanchez

I had the pleasure of working with Blanche and enjoy her skill and winning smile.  Always pleasant and gentle.

During her career @ DOJ, was privileged to know Blanche and have many shared experiences.  She was an excellent, insightful attorney and, more important, a thoughtful, gracious person
I was so sorry to hear about Blanche's passing.   I remember her from the greater US Attorney's Office family and as a valued member of the Edward Bennett Williams Inn of Court.  I always enjoyed being with Blanche and can only share in the grief felt far and wide.  She will be greatly missed.
Blanche was a lovely person. I enjoyed spending time with Blanche when we both served  as visiting faculty for the Emory Law KEPTT Program in Atlanta. We shared many meals together. Blanche had a wonderful calming presence. She was a joy to know.
