So sorry to hear.  Man that sixties are not good these days.  BO Jim Brown s service was today.  Almost 4 months to the day between him and Greg.😢😪😪
Billy was my nephew, and I love him so much. We went to college together, and I took one class with him on Civil War History. He was trying to get me into a clas to help me love history like he did. The teacher we had was very old and made us sit very far away from him. All he talked about was the politics of the war. Even Billy was bored. We both wished we were in a different class. I only made 2 B’s my whole college years, and this class was my first B. We laughed about it a lot. People would ask after he started teaching if Mrs. Uselton was his wife. I taught school too. He’d say yes, so when his wife was having a baby, all my former students thought I was having a baby. I could listen to Billy talk about history for hours. He knew so much and made it so interesting. He is the sweetest person and always kept me laughing. I’ll miss you, Billie, but I know that Jesus and your mom and dad welcomed you. I will see you soon. You will be in my thoughts.

When I started having trouble in school, my grades dropped dramatically, and I couldn't stay focused, he pulled me aside and asked if there was anything he could do to help me since he knew I had the potential. He was the one teacher that noticed something wrong and he tried working with me to get my grade up enough to pass. If i would have told him what was going on, I know he would have helped in that regard too. Mr. Usleton, you were that one teacher that everyone remembers because of your kindness, your willingness to help and your role as the best teacher who had a hand in creating my love for history documentaries. I looked forward to his class at Choctaw Junior High. Rest easy, your job here is done and your legacy lives on..💚
Mr. Uselton was such a sweet, compassionate, kind, wonderful man who always made learning a bit more fun. The heart he had for us students never went unnoticed. Thank you for caring for us Yellowjackets the way you did.

Bill was my big brother.  I am so proud of the person he was.  He was truly the kindest person I’ve ever known.   I can honestly say I have never heard him say a mean thing about anyone.  He would give until he had no more to give.  I know his hope would be to pay it forward if you were one of the many people he has touched during his life.  Love you brother!!
I can remember that every test he had a bonus question.....what type of blood did Spock have? Answer T negative. He loved everybody and everything. He gave us support no matter what. I will never forget him. Luv you.... twinkie
