Bill was one of my oldest friends.  We had known each other since we were kids. We both drift gillnetted in Cook Inlet, and we shared that bond with each other from a lifetime on the water commercial fishing. I use to meet with Bill in recent years for coffee when ever I made a trip down to Homer from Kenai. Condolences to Virginia, Colette, granddaughter,  and all of the rest of the family.  Rest in Peace Bill. You will be missed my friend. 
Papa Bill believed his granddaughter Sienna was a genius.  When he told me he was going to teach her how to snap her fingers when she was just 10 months old I didn't believe he could do it.  He saw what he wanted to see, and he didn't see a baby.  So I was shocked when a week later she could do it!  There is even video proof...

I didn't know that Bill passed I'm so sorry. He was a hard, kind loving man during the brief time I met him. Ha has a beautiful family and his life was so filled with adventure so many to mention. I'm sure that he is with his other family that has passed on before him. 

My sincere condolenses to you Virginia and your family. He he find another adventure i his other life.
