It’s hard to say what was the most fun time we ever had with brother Bill, as there were so many. One that comes to mind right now is time we took a limo to a Jimmy Buffet concert, the limo driver got lost, and we ended up at a White Castle for some late night munchies in Michigan City, Indiana. Another fun time was when we went to KC and the Sunshine Band..we got right up close and personal… hah

Bill was one of my husband, Mike’s best friends in the late 60’s so we hung out together sometimes! What a sweetheart Bill always was! Loved him, dearly❣️He will definitely be missed!!🥰

Nancy, Alli, and the Beery family,
My deepest condolences on your loss. I didn't really know Bill, but Henry and Becky spoke of him often. They spoke of his love of life, his positive attitude, and his kindness. Reading through the postings here it's obvious he was a remarkable man and touched the lives of so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our love and condolences go out to Nancy and the whole Beery Family… family of the kindest, toughest man we’ve ever been privileged to know. Bill was a walking, talking blessing to us and all who knew him, worked with him, and cheerfully served him through all these years at Clearbrook. Words can’t convey how much we will miss Bill and his eternal positivism, making us all “wanta be like Bill.” Bless you, Billy. God’s got a special home for you forever.

I was fortunate enough to have shared space with Bill when I worked at SHS from 1988 to 1994.
He was a joy to be around and his big heart was evident at every turn.

This makes me so sad. I didn’t know Bill really well but he was always friendly and I knew he was a wonderful, sweet person.
My condolences to all of you. I’m so sorry. He lived a good life…and had the best people in it with him!

Bill was a great man, coach, and mentor. A couple happy memories come to mind:
1. Ice skating at Beery field in the winters and on other local "ponds" we needed snow blowers to "zamboni" the ice. Your dad was part of the skeleton crew that would wake up at 3am to resurface the ice so that kids and families had a place to skate.
2. JV Baseball Skipper at Jarvis Memorial Field as our baseball coach.
3. Rocket Football... Bill was always there helping in any way he could to make sure kids had a place for recreational sports.
4. Ensuring SHS operated like a well-oiled machine at Jarvis Memorial for football and baseball and for everything else at the school.
Sending my condolences to the extended Beery family. I hope Mr. Beery is in peace and out of pain.
Rest easy Coach. Thanks for everything.
