Betty Gaskins Waldron, 1949 – 2024
Betty Waldron passed away on January 26, 2024, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born on February 17, 1949, in Arcadia, Florida to Jerrold and Dorothy Gaskins. Betty loved to learn; she graduated from DeSoto County High School in 1966, and later earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Geography from the University of Florida.
