My grandma was the embodiment of love, joy and peace. My grandma road horses and motorcycles. She drove fast and loved hard. She loved to just sit back and watch her family be together and love on another, and she loved Jesus most of all. She was the most faithful person I’ll ever know and she prayed for all of us unceasingly. The last thing she’d always say to us before we parted was “Remember, Jesus loves you and so do I.” She is with Jesus now. Dancing with Him in a fabulous outfit with matching sunglasses. Now there is no more pain only joy at being with the Lord. Grandma- Jesus loves you and so do I.

On this Easter, I remember this. Grandma Betty taking me to church in 1991. I can remember her signature perfume, my pastel pink outfit, her fast driving ... and her love for Jesus. It was particularly special because it was just us. See, it was rare to get her alone - mostly because I have cousins for days. This was at Victory Chapel in El Cajon. I know it because she wrote the date, location and people on the back of EVERY photo. 🌟 Let us all remember that today is one of Hope ~ New Beginnings ~ Miracles ~ Prayer ~ Truth ~ And, the greatest gift ~ Love. 🌟 She told us all, every single time we talked to her: Jesus loves you. 🌟 #HeIsRisen Have a blessed Easter. Begin something new and wonderful today!

Always, always, always... the highest example of love and kindness and caring. Way above anyone I have ever met. The rock of sanity in a crazy world. Full of love and wisdom that too often was not followed unfortunately. She always showed her love even when you acted like an idiot. She loved Jesus and did her best to spread that love to all. There is and only will ever be one Betty Drayer. Losing her is a profound lose.
