To the family:
I am sorry for your loss. Bernadette Lodge-Lemon was one in a million! I admired her strength, fearlessness, and kindness. She stood out of the crowd as an executive leader who was a woman and a woman of color. Bernadette was authentic, highly respected, and very graceful. I will miss her.
With prayers and deepest condolences

I was so sorry to hear about Bernadette's passing. Bernadette was a remarkable leader! She was soo full of wisdom, kind, and patient. She had a very infectious smile! Personally blessed by her generosity as well. I am happy my family had the opportunity to meet and enjoy dinner together while we were in LA. I've seen what an impact she's made on me and all of her colleagues! She will be missed dearly. May God bless her family and welcome Bernadette into his heavenly kingdom!

Missy, my baby sister. One of a kind, a pure gem. She gracefully effortlessly modeled character and poise in everything. Loving and kind, gentle and firm, luminous and radiant are words descriptive of who she is and forever will be. Her spirit is still here and will forever remain in my heart and my home. I miss our conversations, reminiscing about our childhood, going shopping, wine tours and sharing stories about our children…we were lovingly called “The Counsel”. I love her dearly.

I was very saddened when I heard the news of Bernadette's passing, even though I know this was anticipated. What an incredible lady! Bernadette had talent, grace and humor. I always enjoyed working with her and her team. Technically on the organization chart for the last 15 years I reported to Bernadette. She always told me that we had the strangest employee relationship. She didn't know the details of what I did but knew it was getting done. I always appreciated the trust and confidence she placed in me.
Most importantly, we've all lost a colleague, friend and family member. Autumn, Colby and Tristen you have been given an incredible gift of a terrific mom. I haven't shared this since my mom passed, but I suspect you share this sentiment. I said "When we enter this world, we don't get any choice about who are parents are. Some people are lucky and unfortunately others not. I think we were among the luckiest kids in the world..."
Thank you, Bernadette, for sharing your gift of life with us. May your memory be a blessing.

I never expected that I would have to write these words. First of all I want to give my heart felt condolences to her family. Bernadette and I worked together for 11 years I was part of her Employee Committee and all I can say is that we laughed so much in our meetings; I enjoyed seeing everyone laugh but Bernadette was the leader of the laughs I will always remember those moments and hold a smile on my face. I would make floral arrangements for her and she always complimented my work she once said to me Norma you should go into business, I replied Bernadette are you trying to get rid of me she laughed and replied; No Norma your are just so talented. Rest in Peace Bernadette.
