Beatriz Aspiazu Montgomery was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on November 6, 1925 and died peacefully on July 23, 2021 in Spring, Texas. Tish, as she was affectionately known, graduated from Immaculata Junior College in Washington DC, Class of 1946; after which she returned to Guayaquil and worked for the Compañia Bananera del Ecuador, where she met the man who would change the course of her destiny, Joseph West Montgomery Jnr of New Orleans, LA.
