Background
As we went through the days and years of treatment, Daddy would always speak of the people who didn't have good insurance like he did, or couldn't afford the things he could to be comfortable through it all. If it hadn't been for Friends of Hospice Serenity House, Daddys last days would NOT have been as comfortable as they were. I would not have been so comforted and calm and able to just love on him if it hadn't been for them either. I don't think he understood exactly what they did there, but I KNOW, with everything in me, he would have supported them and their cause in EVERY way he could. I'm not requesting that people give, but if you want to do something in Daddy's name or even just because you want to help others too, please consider this non profit for your donation. They took us in and took care of us both, in the hardest time of both our lives. They treated me with nothing but love and compassion and as Daddy said they treated him "like a baby". They are truly amazing people with the biggest hearts and patience unknown....angels on this earth for sure.
