Anita, Carmyn and I extend our sincere condolences to you and the family.

Barron is the type of guy to keep a link to his myspace profile, on his Facebook...in 2023, lol.
I met Barron when I first moved to Hawaii back in 2016. I first moved from Pittsburgh to San Diego and didn't meet a single family member across the country. Move 6 hours across the Pacific and find family on a little rock in the ocean, lol. Believe it or not, I was the first family member Barron met on the Burton side of the family. Being the only family I had here, we INSTANTLY hit it off.
2 years later, this guy was the highlight of my wedding. This guy, surrounded by Burton family he never met, ripped open his fly suit, exposed a hidden Steeler jersey, and took over the dance floor (talk about repping the city!) Ever since then, I couldn't go to a family reunion without talk of mentioning Barron, from family he never met.
This is just to show the INFECTIOUS personality he left on folks from the farthest east coast, to as west coast as it could get.
He knew how to make an entrance, he knew how to find joy in the smallest moments, and he knew how to love!
God bless you Brudha! 🤙🏾

Barron was one of a kind. I spent a lot of time with him at Cal, and even a little while afterwards before he started his next adventures in Hawaii. We used to have jam sessions, we worked together to make him homecoming king, and made countless memories in all sorts of ways. Barron turned a dull room into a party instantly, and gave off some of the most positive energy anyone could do naturally. Although he may be gone physically, he will be with all of us forever.

During our friendship we have seen each other at our absolute worst and when we thought we were on top of the world. We shared some amazing experiences while we attended Cal U. Cal U Choir, Homecoming Court, Student Government, SAI Board of Directors, Men Against Violence, Zeta Knights, a trip to the White House (he managed to get in without an ID...shhh), The Gentlemen's Spot aka The G-Spot, and countless memories. Barron is partially responsible for me being the man I am today. Thank you my brother. I will sing on and continue to want all the hot tubs, cold.
You truly did it your way
