A guardian angel, she must have been…our Barbara Swann. Words cannot express the effect she had on our lives…and now she is gone. The night before Easter, we heard that she had passed away.

Easter was bittersweet yet beautiful for her victory over death in Heaven. Barbara had an unwavering faith in God, and she loved Easter and every holiday throughout the year. She never came to our home empty-handed: Presents galore for everyone; homemade specialties (e.g., Matzah Ball Soup); and holiday attire (Christmas sweaters and Jack-O-Lanterns). When Ryder was younger, our annual tradition was to visit Santa Claus.

We are so blessed that she cared so much for my family. She was like a Grandma to Ryder, chef extraordinaire, housekeeper, gardener, and (miraculous:) pet whisperer. We miss her so much and are so grateful for her generosity and time in our lives. What a beautiful life.❤️
