On August 5th, 1935 William Clyde Skaggs and Wilma Veda Skaggs along with big sister Dorothy welcomed baby Barbara Ann into the world in Fort Worth, Texas. Throughout her life Barbara would repeatedly vow to live all of her days in and around Fort Worth, as long as she was able. For the most part, she was faithful to that promise.
