Barbara's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Houswerth, a remarkable woman, full of warmth and love. Born on October 29, 1930, she lived a fulfilling life until her peaceful departure on November 12, 2024. Barbara's positive aura, friendly demeanor, easy laughter, and love for people was an embodiment of her beautiful spirit. She had an innate ability to never see strangers, only friends she hadn't met yet.
Barbara held a firm belief in thanking God in all things and always saw the good in everyone she encountered. This optimism and faith were the compass that guided her through life. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family, especially her beloved daughters, Linda Fedewa and Jonie Frinkle who survive her. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by son in law, Mike Fedewa, 6 grandchildren plus their spouses, and 13 great grandchildren. Barbara had a heart that knew no bounds, "adopting" countless others into her extended family throughout her life.
Her legacy will be remembered as one of kindness, generosity, and an encompassing love for people from all walks of life. The immense love she held for people and her radiant personality left an indelible mark on those blessed to know her. Barbara's absence will be deeply felt, especially by her family and the loved ones she held so dear.
A celebration of Barbara's life will take place on November 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Turning Leaf Church of the Nazarene, located at 5800 N Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the exceptional life she lived. May her soul rest in perfect peace and her legacy continue to inspire those she left behind.
