My sincere condolences to Barbara's family, friends & loved ones. I first met Barbara when I worked @ Fox Studios and we became "Vanpool Buddies". She would always make a point of inviting me to whatever Special Event was happening at her church. I truly cherished her friendship and she will remain forever within my heart. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the services on Friday due to a previously planned obligation, but I send my prayers & well wishes to you all.

To Kris, Douggie and all of Barbara Jeans family, i offer my deepest heartfelt condolences to all of you. Barbara Jean was my dearest Sister in Christ. When I started at the studio in 1980 she was the one who became my mentor and helped me. We were steadfast friends from that time on. I remember the many times we would take off for lunch and go to the hood for Friend chicken or soul food. We also would go to Cedars and Gloria would feed us. Barbara had one of the biggest hearts if you didnt cross her :) The last time I saw her was sometime last year and we reminisced about Fox studio and all the people we knew.
I will be attending another service at my church for a long time member on Friday so I wont make it to Barbara's service. God bless and keep all of you. She loved you all so much. Keep her memory going as she would want you too.
