I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Joyce. She was such a lovely, caring person who shined brightly. My mom, Sandra was her cousin and we loved spending time with her. We lived in Deer Park at one time, visited her in Florida and also enjoyed the time when Joyce lived in Austin. My family loved her and her family deeply.

Joyce and my sister Susan stayed with me during a couple of predicted hurricanes in recent years. We had such a good time! I had the privilege of meeting Joyce when I became her neighbor. She truly was a special woman who radiated love, kindness, and a genuine interest in the world and others around her. I loved talking with her about any topic. She was so sharp and interesting in conversation. I will miss her but she will not be forgotten.
