December is a very extra hard month.  It has been six months since you left us Austin.  Your birthday is coming up.  Our wonderful family Christmas Eves & Christmas Day.  Nothing will ever be the same. With tears in my eyes I am remembering May 13, 2021 Austin had a business meeting in Alameda. He call to see if I was available to meet him for a late lunch. Of course, I would drop everything to be with my grandson. We met at Dragon Rouge and had a great lunch. He looked handsome, healthy, upbeat, & in a great mood. He was leaving in two days for Vegas. He said he would be back before he moved to Vegas to start his new job in mid June and would be sure to come over before he left. We had a wonderful afternoon. He gave me a big hug as I got into my car to leave. As I was driving away I looked back at him in my rear view mirror and that was the last time I saw him. Even tho I am crying while I write this, it really is a good memory. I always ended every conversation or text with the words that are true to this day and always “I Love You and Miss You Austin”💔 Grandma June ❤️🙏🏼
