Personal note from A Letter of Gratitude from the Family of Audrey Maria McAbee

To our family, friends, church community, and everyone who has prayed for us, loved on us, and walked beside us —

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your kindness, your calls, your messages, your presence, and your prayers have carried us through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Losing our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend Audrey Maria McAbee has left an ache we can’t fully describe, but your love has reminded us that we are not walking this road alone.

Every story shared, every hug given, every meal prepared, and every act of service — whether big or small — has been a reflection of the love our mom gave so freely during her life. She was the kind of woman who showed up for others, who loved without hesitation, and who made people feel seen. To see that same love come back to us through all of you has been a true testimony of her legacy.

We want to especially thank our church family, extended relatives, friends from near and far, and every person who has supported us in prayer and presence. You have helped us find strength in our sorrow, light in our grief, and peace in knowing that Audrey’s spirit lives on through every heart she touched.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord she faithfully served. Her faith was unwavering, her love was endless, and her legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.

On behalf of the McAbee and Neeley families, thank you for standing with us, loving us, and celebrating the beautiful life of Mother Audrey Maria McAbee.

With love and gratitude,
Maurice, Reese, Tony, Reggie, Chris, and the entire family
