Audrey Maria McAbee was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Barbara Jean Davis Neeley and Larry Davis. A woman of strong faith and gentle grace, she accepted Christ early in life and served faithfully as an usher and ministry worker. 

In 1984, Audrey met her lifelong love, Maurice McAbee, while in high school. Their union blossomed into a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. A devoted wife and mother, Audrey dedicated her life to nurturing her family and spreading kindness wherever she went.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Maurice, her children Maurice (Reese), Anthony (Tony), Reginald (Reggie), and Christopher (Chris); her grandchildren Shi’Lyn, Reginald Jr., and Emerson; her stepfather Eugene Neeley; siblings Darnella, Larry, and Allison; godchildren Jamil and Darryl; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Audrey’s life was one of faith, love, and quiet strength. She was a Proverbs 31 woman whose legacy of grace and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
