Artiek Smith was born April 29, 1929 in Memphis, TN and was adopted into the beautiful family Mr. and Mrs. Jessie and Addie Smith.
He was a proud graduate of Douglass High School in Memphis and the American Academy of Commercial Art institute in Chicago. He also studied at the Scottsdale Artist School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As a talented artist, Mr. Smith became an accomplished painter/illustrator, cartoonist/watercolorist, muralist and sign painter and worked for over …
