My friend of over 60 yes. We grew up together and fun times with entire family as far back as hanging out at his parents home. Thank you for always staying in touch and your visit with me in Vegas.
I am Art and Yvonne’s neighbor Barbara, my husband Tim passed away October 25th 2024,  want to share how kind and patient Art was with Tim when he was at his worst. I would be babysitting our grandchildren or out of town, Art would go check on Tim for me, Yvonne would always let me know how Tim was doing, to have caring,  nonjudgmental neighbors such as Art and Yvonne is a rarity especially now a days! Tim was from San Jose also and I’m sure he and Art  shared some good stories! I was blessed to have known him and will miss him. Whenever I would ask him how he was doing, he’d always respond “good I’m good” even if he wasn’t feeling ok.  My heart goes out to family and friends that were fortunate enough to have him in their lives. 🙏❤️ forever RIP Art.

Thank you, Uncle Art, for showing us what Chicano pride looked like growing up — those days at the park were awesome!

I’ll always remember you teaching me how to shift gears in your ’54 Bomb, and all the early morning and late-night rides you gave me as a teenager. No questions, no judgment — you just showed up.

And I’ll never forget June 4th, 1983, when you and Aunt Yvonne drove Tim Jr. and me to Reno to get married — riding in your white Z28 felt like the coolest thing ever.

You were one of a kind, -Martha
