Life sometimes throws us some unexpected challenges… some are easy to manage through, and others are devastating. And when it happens, it can throw your whole world upside down.
Our good friend, Armando Leal fought a good fight…. he lost that battle and was called to heaven on Saturday morning, March 16, 2024.

His fight began December 19th, right before Christmas. He suffered a cardiac arrest on his way to work. He was able to call his beautiful wife Zoe to tell her to call 911 because he thought he was having a heart attack. That was the last time she heard his voice. He fell into a coma state and has been like that for three months.

As a wife getting that call must have been life shattering. But she has proven to be such an inspirational and faith filled woman. She encouraged all the friends and family with her hope and determination to help Mandy through this.

This optimism and love carried through to their children Emmie and Mathew as well. Emmie is studying at FSU and Matthew just began attending UCF. They transferred back down here to finish the semester while staying with their dad during the day so their mom who is an assistant principal at an elementary school can go back to work during the day. They were by his side day in and day out since December.

It has been an emotional roller coaster for the whole family; his wife, his children, his sister, his nieces and nephews, his in-laws and his best friends. They have had a beautiful support of love and prayers, and we’re hoping we can help them out financially.

Losing a loved one, especially the head of household is a big hit to the family and the finances. We are hoping to bless them with some monetary help in addition to our prayers, our support, our visits and our love.

With everything that happens in life we have to think there but for the grace of God, could be any one of us. We pray that God continues to give this family strength, patience, and acceptance, and we pray that he bless all of you.
