It has been many years since I got to see my Uncle Butch in person.  Over the years since my mom (his sister, Celia) passed away, we had begun to communicate with cards and letters and I got to know him a little better.  Wish I could have hung out and enjoyed a few beers with him but I'm so glad for the time I did have to connect with him.

Armando was so kind and generous.  A wonderful colleague at Cal State East Bay and a good friend.  I will miss him.
