CARROLLTON- April Wise Smith, 41, died February 25, 2017. A native of Chesapeake, April was “Director of production and development at Smith, Inc.”

She is survived by her husband Jimmy; three sons, Avery, Tristan and Maddox; parents, Jason L. Wise, Jr. and Shelley Norris Wise of Chesapeake; mother-in-law, Karen M. Smith of Portsmouth; and many loving friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 6 PM in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, Suffolk. A visitation will follow until 8 PM.
