Anushri "Shuggie" Nair passed away on July 01, 2020 at the age of 19, following a tragic drowning at Panther Beach in Santa Cruz, California. 

Shuggie was born in London on November 01, 2000 to parents, Vinesh & Prithi. She was their only beloved child, always bringing so much light and love to any room she entered. She proudly stated that professionally she wanted a career she would be able to give back. She had recently graduated as an EMT a month before she passed.  Shuggie loved art and music she found her solace in playing her guitar and writing songs. She used this as way to express her love and feelings. She was a tender compassionate soul and had this amazing ability to always see the good in people. “ Everyone has good ma you just have to let them show you !” Was one of her favorite quotes. Shuggie’s memory will forever be cherished by so many family members she outlived both in the UK and US. There are some so bright that even when they leave their light remains this was our Shuggie.
