Anthony Welch, known as Tony by his friends and family, was born in California on August 22,1946 to Opal (maiden name Chambers) and Cecil Welch. He grew up in China Lake, California on a Navy base with his younger sisters, Linda and Terry. Tony grew up to love reading, live music, plays, and camping. He worked over 30 years as an elementary and middle school teacher until he retired in 2007 and loved it, especially …
