We love and miss you Papa Tony! Thinking of you extra today❤️
Dear Dad. The clouds are clearing today and the sun is beginning to shine. You brought sunshine into the lives of so many people- with your words, your actions and your music. Yours was a life well- lived. I miss you today and every day. Love, Jeff ❤️

Time has not lessened the sadness I feel for my brother Tony. There is an empty space in my being that can only be filled by my dear brother. Tony and I shared our time on this planet for 68 years. Years of joy, travel, and celebrations of two
families living their lives to the fullest. Watching our children grow to adulthood from our adjacent homes separated by a magical plot of earth used for pretend, football and family gatherings . Tony was the epitome of all that is good in a person. Taking care of my Mother as a son would have . It was Tony who guided me through my hard times, he always explained what was important and what was not . How I miss him . I want to believe that Tony is somewhere in Florida at a karaoke event doing what he loved ,singing his love songs. I’m very fortunate to have had Tony in my life and I will miss him always.
Peg and I are here to be of help in any way we can .We love you all.
Most of my memories of my cousin-through-marriage Tony are from family gatherings when I was growing up in the 1960s and early 70s. I can picture him in the background, smiling, laughing, eliciting a funny comment or comeback or two.

I do have one especially vivid recollection. It was at a cousin’s wedding, and I was sitting at a table with my mother and some of my aunts. Suddenly, from across the floor, I heard his baritone croon: “Your kisses take me … to Shangri-La.” My Aunt Rose jerked her head toward where the dulcet tones were coming from and exclaimed: “oowww.” Then I believe it was his mother-in-law, my Aunt Mary, who explained that “Shangri-La” was the song that was playing when he and Carol first met. And then, on his way back to his table - after his performance made everyone there forget about Frank, Dean, Bobby and that other Tony - my Aunt Louise strolled up and comically asked him to sign her napkin. Nice, fun memories.

Since the mid-70s – after I went off to college, moved out of Rhode Island, and then eventually settled on the West Coast in 1987 - I practically had no contact with Tony. I did have the chance, happily, to reconnect with him one last time in 2010 when I attended the 100th birthday celebration of my twin aunts, Mary and Margaret. It was fun to find out that he once made a living as a technical writer, as I did at the time and still do, and to tell him that I started dabbling in singing (though my voice and technique are not nearly as good as his).

I was so very saddened to hear about Tony’s sudden passing from this terrible covid scourge. My heartfelt condolences go to Carol, Jeffery, Ronald, Susan and all his grandchildren.

Tony, you are amongst my fondest memories, despite the years, it has been. An obituary for you could go on for pages and pages. I enjoyed so much of your grand personality, warmth, compassion, big smile, and sense of humor. It was an honor and pleasure to have known you. My sincerest condolences to all of your beautiful family.

I have had so much fun with Papa Tony over the years. The most fun I think was definitely visiting during spring break with my sister in 2019 and 2020 for a few days where I really got to know my grandparents as people, not just as the family I saw a few times for holidays. I learned about their favorite things, the story of how they met, their life in FL, their passions, and spent really good, quality time talking and playing games. I had no idea how valuable that time would be to me now. My favorite favorite part of the trips was all the silly ways Papa Tony reminded me of my dad and I got a lens into why my dad is who he is. They share so many mannerisms, from their sense of humor to the silly way they get fixated on great music like Queen that makes them play it over and over again over short time spans. He really made my sister and I laugh, and I’m upset that I learned how subtlety and genuinely funny my Papa was this late in life. Nonetheless, I feel lucky to have had the time to learn it at all.

Everyone loved my dad, Tony. He had a good heart and an amiable sense of humor, which endeared him to his family, friends and clients. I could not have asked for a better father - someone who, along with my mom Carol, prepared me for life's challenges and was always there to lend his support and encouragement. I would sometimes tell him he was "The Best", a title he inherited from his father, Camille - both men of character, decency and responsibility. I'm proud of the example they each set for me and for so many others. So here's to Dad & Gramps - Love you Always.

Grammy and Papa Holding Hands- how lucky am I to have grown up with such a beautiful example of unselfish, unrelenting, true love?
Sad for the loss of my cousin who was always pleasant, fun loving and respectful. Sadder still for his brother and sister and most of all wife Carol and the family they had together. He did have a life “well lived”. RIP dear cousin.
Now, we hear your voice in the songs you so loved to sing.💔

Our hearts are broken at this great loss. We will always remember Tony as a caring and joyful friend. Super Bowl at Tony and Carol's was a memorable event. His beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Grateful we were able to spend his last Thanksgiving together.

So very, very sorry for you loss. You are in my prayers.
Tony was my printer of choice for the American Heart Association and a variety of other places I worked for over the years. What a gentleman - and how I enjoyed reading much more about Tony, here. My sincere condolences to his family. He made a positive mark wherever he went, and even after all these years he is remembered. A special man, indeed.
