I was deeply saddened to learn that Tony was no longer with us today. I recently realized I hadn't heard from him in some time. When he didn't respond to my email, I was shocked to find his obituary here. Tony was a long-time supporter of my work and attended many of my online events. Many in my network will be saddened to hear the news. Tony's humanity and caring touched everyone. He will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Nancy,
Tony was the one of the best bosses I ever had. And he was such a darned nice person!
He is gone way too soon. My condolences to you and the boys.

Nancy and family.
On behalf of AME's Midwest Regional board members I offer our sincere condolences on the untimely passing of your wonderful husband and father. He brought his passion, enthusiasm, energy, intellect and humor to all of our events and activities. We will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Terry Spalding
AME President Midwest Region
I am so sad to hear about Tony's passing. I remember the first day I met him at Optum when he joined our Six Sigma team approximately 7-8 years ago. I also remember how warm and welcoming Tony and Nancy were when I picked up Tony to go to meetings downtown Chicago. I had the blessing, a couple of times, to have morning cups of coffee with both of them. Tony loved to make coffee! I also loved to see how their flower garden progressed via pictures Tony would send me. The garden was even more wonderful in person. Tony loved to talk about how Nancy's garden was doing great and how great she was at it! Tony will be missed dearly!
