Anthony was truly one of a kind! His wit and deep knowledge of so many subjects were two of my favorite things about spending time with him. Funny memories with him are especially abundant. I remember one time I had to move out of an apartment and Anthony appointed himself project manager, telling us where to stack and put things and offering his commentary about the job we were doing. I also remember many late night conversations about who knew more about French new wave film and who was a bigger fan of the band Belle and Sebastian. Somehow, Anthony always won these contests! Anthony, Juleana and I also had a memorable outing to one of the Mad Men tv screening parties in Minneapolis, all dressed up in fabulous 1960s themed outfits. It was an AMAZINGLY cool and unique evening. He would have fit right into one of the episodes in his look. Social, knowledgable, clever, kind and always stylish - that was Anthony. He will be deeply missed.

I am truly at a loss for words. I am so very sad to hear about Anthony’s passing. My heart goes out to Holly, Ken, Troy, Juleana and all the family and friends.
Anthony and I worked together for many years. We spent countless hours traveling for projects all over the country and developed a friendship over the years. After my divorce when I was shopping for a house Anthony went with me and gave his opinions. The house I bought he thought had good bones.
Anthony was assigned to work with me as an intern but it was clear he was very intelligent and capable of more challenging opportunities. In the practice of architecture there was nothing Anthony couldn’t do, and do well.
He had such a bright future in so many ways. Anthony will be missed.

Antony & I had a special relationship with shared interest in food, wine, travel & the Swedish language.
At age around 13. I decided to introduce my children & nephews to Moroccan food. Anthony was completely engrossed in the experience, even dressing up in his version of Moroccan garb.
At age 3 he also made a point to let me know that mayo doesn’t belong on a peanut butter sandwich… something a Swedish aunt didn’t understand 😂
We had so many special conversations over the years… I will miss these until Jehovah God wakes him up in the new world with complete health. I long for that day,
Auntie Karin

Oh gosh, so many memories with the wonderful Anthony. We had a pretty tight work crew back at Durrant and spent a lot of time together. He taught me a lot about wine and food and was so well-read...I remember him being so refined, making me feel like a shlub, haha! He was a wonderful, unique and awesome man. He will be so greatly missed.

Anthony was a very smart and down to earth guy. That is what I remember of him in our high-school years. It is sad to hear of his passing.

My childhood wouldn't have been filled with so much joy and laughter if it weren't for Anthony. Certain songs always bring him to mind: I hear "Vogue" and picture him splitting his pants, or a Mamas & Papas song reminds me of us ballroom dancing while playfully fighting. When I hear "Joyride," I remember his choreographed dance moves and how he instructed Troy to act like a crazed fan. I can still hear his voice singing that Carpenters' song, "Why do birds suddenly appear…"
So many other memories come to mind: road trip videos, Bit-O-Honey candies, winters at the cabin, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, using sheets as costumes to represent Togo, and reading Kafka (which creeped me out).
And his love for food! Anthony was more than just or average "foodie"; he was a true culinary innovator. We would get so indignant when our cooking competition entries lost. Our blueberry pie, using Jell-O for an extra tangy flavor, should have been a clear winner! 😝 And who could forget our delicious oil-cured olive baklava? 🤤
I'm so happy I could be a small part of Anthony's imaginative adventures. Thank you for all the memories, dear friend. You are missed but never forgotten.

There is a big Anthony-sized hole in Saint Paul Public Schools Facilities. We were lucky to have him.
