I attended evening Corepower class at the Y with Anne for several years but only knew her to say Hi. Then the pandemic arrived and life came to a halt. Eventually, during lockdown a group of women from Carla’s corepower classes started socially -distanced walking and stretching with her in parks and on the Greenbelt. Anne was part of the group. We paired up as we walked and I always looked forward to being paired with Anne.  The group was apolitical but I could count on discussing current affairs when I walked with Anne. She was a breathe of fresh air in difficult times. I got to know her better and made a new friend as did all in the group. This made the pandemic bearable.  My sincerest condolences to her family, loved ones, and friends- she was wonderful.

I am very sorry I will be unable to attend the memorial this Thursday. I had hoped very much to be there and see Rob, meet the kids, see friends from out to town and offer my dearest condolences. Much love.

We were saddened to learn of Anne's passing. Eileen & I have many fond memories of Anne & Rob, especially gathering as friends on Christmas day many years ago. Also, we remember her support of all her friends in their many ventures. Life and time may have distanced our gathering, but not lessen the sense of love and family Anne always promoted and embraced. Our condolences to Rob and family & her extended family. She will always be a shining light. Eileen & Don Howell

I met Anne through our mutual “best friend,” Susan Kelly. I always loved hearing stories of the two of them growing up together in New Jersey, and their migration out to Idaho (more or less) together. Anne graciously accepted me, ensuring I never felt left out. Thank you, Anne.

She was (and IS, wherever she is right now), a gracious, kind, creative, and a generous spirit. I send my deepest condolences to her wonderful family, whom she clearly enjoyed and cherished.

I am so sorry for the loss of Anne. She was one of the most kind and generous teachers I have ever known. All of the students loved her!

I met Anne as a teacher at Roosevelt School. Amelia was my student for 2nd and 3rd grade. She started an art program in our classroom, gathering other parents to help. We had mutual friends, and became friends ourselves. She was an inspiration to me and all the students. Anne was a supportive, caring  person who was passionate about what she believed in.
