I first met AK in 6th grade over insta, and when we finally met in person the following school year I knew I had found someone special. We may not have been the best of friends, but were still close and shared memories which I will cherish for the rest of my life. Her positive energy and spirit was infectious; even though she was popular, she remained humble, grounded and kind to everyone around her. She never had anything bad to say about anyone and welcomed those around her with open arms. AK never failed to make others smile, and was the type of person who was happiest when the ones she loved were near her. She helped me through middle school both academically and socially, and without her companionship I don't think I would be where I am today. Whether she was driving her Volvo, hanging out with will.i.am, or taking trips across America with her friends and family, AK lived her life to the fullest. I am so grateful to have known her and will miss her very much.

 Because we have known one another from the beginning of elementary school, I have grown up with Anne-Katrine. I am greatly saddened. My thoughts and prayers go to her family & friends. Rest easy❤️

I met Anne-Katrine in elementary school but only started talking to her in middle school. She never failed to make me laugh. I had class with her in 6th grade and she always had a burst of energy and would brighten up the mood. Rest easy.

Me and Anne-Katrine grew apart in middle school, but I will always fondly remember our friendship at Alamo and going over to her house. She was one of my best friends in elementary school and was such a light to everyone around her. Sending so much love to her family. Rest easy AK.

AK, you were truly such a bright light. Never a dull moment with you and you always knew how to cheer me up. You will continue to live within me and I will carry your light with me everywhere I go. I love you forever AK, you were gone too too soon. The world would have been so lucky to see all the good you would’ve done. ❤️ I will forever turn up for my girl AK I love u endlessly

It is difficult to comprehend this loss for each of you.
