Mom, I sit here listening to Elvis, writing your obituary, and fighting back tears every sentence I type. God, I am going to miss you. Your son needs you and now you are gone. It's not fair. I am sure you would have some sort of witty remark to me and that would cause the both of us to laugh. Mom, know my heart is so filled with your love. Please know a day will not go by that I don't think about you and not shed a smile and a tear. I want to share a story that my mom and I would always joke about. First, I always said when she would pass that I would make sure to take her hair and put it on my mantel. If you knew my mom her hair was her life. We also joked that when she retired and if she was mean to me I would put her in my closet with sand, a heat lamp, and a lawn chair and tell her she is in Flordia. Plus every hour I would spray her with a water gun for the full beach effect. She would say you are not very funny Andy. I am going to miss our conversations, our laughs, our everything.
