Annie brought music and vibrancy everywhere she went, with Elvis Presley's tunes close to her heart. She cherished the moments spent playing the slots at Little Six and found joy in artistic Southwest creations and art. A lover of books, she enjoyed immersing herself in the engaging stories written by James Paterson and David Baldacci. Her life was a dance, with a particular fondness for performances that featured music and dancing, with Footloose being a standout favorite.
Annie retired from Cub Foods in 2012 after a long and fulfilling career. Outside of work, she was a valued attendee at St. Hubert Catholic Church and a major contributor to St. Jude. Always up for an adventure, Annie loved traveling to any warm place during the winter and locally, the Little 6 Casino, was among her favorite spots. In addition to her travel interests, she made sure to find time for her family, often engaging in light-hearted banter with her beloved Victor.
A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating Annmarie’s vivacious life will be held on December 3, 2024, at St. Hubert Catholic Church; 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, MN 55317. The visitation will start at 9:30 AM, with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Burial at St. Hubert’s cemetery with reception back at St. Hubert's Church.
Annie embraced life with open arms, some of her favorite sayings were "God only gives you what you can handle." You are never too old to dance" and "You always need to love your mother". Her most significant accomplishment was her resilience; she bravely fought her way out of her darkest times, and found love and happiness anew. Annie’s love for life, infectious laughter, and ability to bring joy to those around her will be fondly remembered. Her spirit of warmth, positivity, and compassion will continue to inspire us, and her memories will forever remain in our heart. In lieu of flowers or gifts she wishes support for her favorite charity St. Jude.
