I was so sorry to hear about Ankita's passing. She was such a bright, beautiful person who made everyone around her feel loved. Sending love to the Varmans and all who knew her. What a heartbreaking loss. May her soul rest in peace.

2015, Syracuse University
Ankita, you were the first friend i made at college. It was the end of a new students orientation and you turned to me from a few row in front and called my name. I was so confused but you said you had met my dad and he had told you all about me. I was, of course, so embarrased, but we laughed about it and exchanged phone numbers. After that day became close and spent a lot of time together. You were always a light in my life and brought a smile to my face. I hope you find happiness in the next life.

My deepest condolences to Ankita's family and friends on their terrible loss.  Her tragic passing has stunned me, as I'm sure it has others.  Ankita was always a luminescent, ever-congenial member of our Atlanta Posse group.  We were all blessed by her lucid intelligence and perpetual warmth, and we shall remember and admire her always.

I met Ankita our Sophomore ye…
2018, Ponce City Market, North Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA, USA
I met Ankita our Sophomore year at Syracuse. The following summer I had an internship in Atlanta. She made sure to show me around town and introduced me to new friends. I will always remember her smile and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved.
