Andy's obituary

John Andrew Kizer, lovingly known as Andy, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona, at the age of 41. After over 12 years of unexplained illness, Andy made the quiet decision to pack his tent and go to heaven. Though his time with us ended far too soon, his strength, humor, and unwavering spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Andy is survived by his wife, Angela Kizer; his sister, Mandy Kizer; and his loving parents, John and Fran Kizer. He also leaves behind a career as a dedicated pharmacist, where he helped countless people with care and compassion.

Born on September 27, 1983, Andy was a happy-go-lucky child with a bright imagination and a love for play. He was especially fond of Ninja Turtles and action movies, which sparked a lifelong love of heroes and adventure. As a teenager, he found confidence and discipline through karate, eventually earning a black belt—something he was incredibly proud of.

Andy earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011, a reflection of his intelligence, perseverance, and desire to make a difference. He married Angela in May 2008, and together they built a life.

Andy’s passing leaves an empty space in our lives, but we find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace. We love him dearly and miss him deeply. We know he is up in heaven now.
