It was always a pleasure to speak with  Andy at work. My sincerest condolences on your loss. -Heather
When Andy was about 5 or 6 years old, he and I fished Knoll Lake on the Rim in Arizona. He started reeling, but the sound of his drag constantly going out told me he was hung up on the bottom of the lake. I told him to stop reeling, which he did, but the sound of his drag going out kept up. I realized he had a large fish on the end of his line, so I tightened his drag a bit and told him to keep on reeling and keep the pole up. He landed the fish, and it turned out to be a large Brown trout over 20 inches long. He held the fish up with a smile that covered his face from ear to ear. Phones didn't have cameras in them back then, but I wish we had taken a picture of him holding that fish.
I met Andy in kindergarten, and we became friends quickly. We were extremely close friends all the way through high school. Even though we eventually grew apart and went different directions with our lives, I know that he left a lasting impression on me. So many memories of our time together make up a large part of my general memory of my past. I can’t think of my childhood and younger years without thinking of Andy. From all of times we would hang out and play action figures and video games, to the movie nights and sleepovers, and so many more little things that make up the story of who Andy was and still is, living on in mine and everyone else’s memories. He will be greatly missed, and I will always remember him and the lasting impact he had on me in so many ways.

It was a beautiful service and thank you to everyone who attended.

My memories of Andy when he was a high school student in the ministry at AZ Community Church were that he had that same incredible smile that would welcome others. In my interactions with him, he came across gentle and kind. I wish I’d had more time with him, as I was busy serving in the junior high ministry at the time. There was also the funny memory of when his family came over to my family’s home for dinner and Fran had brought her famous sugar free green jello desert with sour cream :)

My prayers are with your family.

- Ryan Heath

I’m so sorry for your loss, sending love and prayers to your family. We went to Highschool together and he was always nice.
My condolences to Andy's family. I first met Andy when I was in high school and we would often watch action movies (that involves Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc) and talk about life. He has a sharp memory on his past events and describes them with extreme detail. He is thoughtful, invests time in people, and makes sure everyone is taken care of. He will surely be missed.
My condolences to Andy's family. I have fond memories with Andy where we would have sleepovers watching shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or countless action movies with stars like Chuck Norris and Sylvester Stallone. Andy was a kind and generous person who was always a pleasure to be around and he will be dearly missed.
