We have known each other since our late teens, you were the baby of our group in Uni, not even 18 when we first met~ Time flies.

The days we spent experimenting in labs, playing cards in lecture halls, studying together, trying to tip exam questions to maximize our marks whilst doing the least studies and banging on your college door to get you to wake up to go to exams are all fond memories of our uni days.

You always had a relaxed and happy go lucky character, never a moment stressed, your smiley face always present (even when we were dismantling your car in the backseat whilst you drove).

As we grew older the help and advice  you have given me from simple things like computer to  overseas investments shows the massive knowledge base you have.

I am honored to have met you for the past decades and managed to stay friends throughout the years.

Your smiley face will always be remembered. May you rest in peace.

I first met Andrew through my friend Venchilli many years ago. Although we only reconnected more recently, it didn’t take long to see what a loving, friendly, and caring person he was. His warmth in the way he treated others left a lasting impression on me. I am truly grateful for the moments we shared.

Rest in peace, Andrew. Your kindness, patience, and quiet strength will always be remembered.

My heartfelt thoughts and deepest condolences go to Chilli, Joses and Jasper. May the family find strength and comfort in the love and memories Andrew leaves behind.

I’m deeply saddened by the news of Andrew’s passing. Though I have not seen him for years since university days, I always remember him to be gentle and kind soul—he was so genuine and thoughtful, even at a young age. I still remember him with his guitar, singing with that warm and effortless voice.

My heart goes out to Chilli, Joses and Jasper. I hope they find strength and comfort in knowing how fondly he’ll be remembered by all who knew him.

I’m deeply saddened to hear about Andrew’s passing. He was a wonderful soul—smart, kind, and genuinely good-hearted. It was a privilege to have known him and worked alongside him at Morgan Stanley. My memories of you will always be of smiles and kindness.

My heart goes out to his family, his wife, and his beautiful children during this unimaginable time. He didn’t deserve to leave this world so young, but I’m sure he rests peacefully with God in the heavens, just as a soul like his deserves. May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.

I'm so sorry I won't be able to be there for his funeral on the 16th as will be abroad, but my thoughts are with him and his family.

Andrew was more than just a friend; he was an extraordinary soul.

I first met Drew and Chilli during my first year of uni, along with a close-knit group who would become lifelong friends. I remember being struck by how smart he was—a computer whiz with a wonderfully spontaneous spirit. He was drawn to my passion for music and jumped into it with an open heart. We hit it off instantly.

Music became our shared language — a place where Andrew could express his spontaneity, feelings, and imagination. That is the very spirit of our band, FnD (Feel and Dream), taking its name from the song he co-wrote with Aveline. He was an unbelievably fast learner; for example, when I showed him the “7 chords” guitar method, he mastered playing them on the guitar in all 12 keys in just a few months. He used to show me the blisters on his fingers — a badge of honor that showed his grit and his determined character.

There was a rare magic when our group of like-minded souls played together. It’s a special feeling to act as one through music. In FnD, Andrew quickly established a musical style and voice that was uniquely his — a true breath of fresh air. He never looked back, leaving us with songs that are authentic and resonant. Those melodies, his love, and our shared memories will always be remembered.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Andrew.

It was a privilege to work alongside Andrew for years. I will always remember his kindness, dedication, and the supportive presence he offered to everyone around him.

Andrew's consistent warmth and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on me. I will miss him greatly.

To the family, please accept my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort in knowing how respected and fondly remembered he is.

With sincere remembrance,

Daniel, Grace and family Jeannie and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of Andrew our sincere condolences to you all.

I recall whilst we were working at the Jockey Club our families met from time to time at Sporting and Social events, I remember the sports day when Timothy narrowly beat Adam in a running race.

I am still in UK so very sorry to miss his funeral but we will be thinking of you all at this very difficult time

Best wishes

Terry and Jeannie Smith

I’ve known Chilli for over 20 years, but we never really connected until a dinner gathering brought us closer.  Through that, I also got to know Andrew.

During COVID, since we all lived in North Point, we looked out for each other and shared many meals.  He often came to our place to play guitar and sing, and during that time we got through the difficult isolation period together.

Andrew, don’t worry — our North Point neighbors will continue to uphold the spirit of community and take good care of Chilli.

Rest in peace, Andrew. You will be deeply missed, but your warmth, laughter, and music will live on in our hearts.
