I will always remember her warm and sometime boisterous laughter, her faith in Jehovah and love for his word. I look forward to seeing her in Jehovah’s new system where she has challenged me to a footrace. Pretty sure I’m going to lose that.
She smiles through so much. “Tough ole’ gal,” I’d tell her. We always enjoyed our visits with Andrea. We thought we’d perk her up! As usual, she perked us up even more. She had a beautiful quality...ENDURANCE. Jehovah God misses her and will raise her healthy in his due time. What a fun time we will have. I told her we are going to be climbing a mountain together when the earth is a paradise!

I had the privilege of knowing Andrea my sister in the truth, but also being her notary a few times as well. We always had a thing for each other and always enjoyed each other’s company. Her death is a tragic loss to all, but as always when death happens we can lapping forward to visiting with her again once this system is complete. She will be in perfect health and we can all live as we were intended to live on the beautiful planet earth forever and ever. Meanwhile we miss her laugh, and smiles. Her friend. Samuel levine
With a lifetime of memories, it is hard to write down the best, as more and more come to mind each day. First, EVERYONE mom met loved her. Her smile and of course the laugh, was contagious. I remember visiting Lori one day when she lived across from mom, and was outside and heard this laugh!! I was like, "oh no, I think that is mom!!" Ha ha ha I was reflecting on the two years right before her last episode, when she went from Care home to Care home, and then to the assisted living home in Scotts Valley. I visited her almost daily, as she went from bed bound, to able to sit up, to assisted walking, to using a walker. Then we got her to the assisted living, and she loved it! I would go and take her to lunch, which was slow due to the wheel chair she needed to use. But then we would go to the restaurant, and of course, the life of the room was in full action!! MOM.. That was a special time for the two of us, and I want to remember all the good times we shared then. But...Stubborn!! Of course, she was Italian! Nothing could stop her if she got it into her mind that she wanted to do something, or to go somewhere. Another great quality:) Then there was the support for her kids. She would give and do anything for her kids, and she held no favorites. And her love for her grandkids was just as strong. So many great memories of her coming to care for the kids, and go to the park and the beach. I want to give a special super huge thank you to my sister Sharon for ALL the hours, and the financial commitment, she gave to mom during the final days, which turned into years, of moms life. I also want to thank Mike, her husband for his incredible support of both my sister and mom during this time. To each of them, I will always be indebted to you both for this huge task you performed. More to come, as the current sorrow and grief transform into a glowing memory of all the greatness my mom brought to this world. Thank you sis for this wonderful site to share. Rick
What I remember is Andrea's beautiful smile. She was always smiling. She chose to be happy and it radiated out to each and every person she came in contact with. Sharon, I am so sorry for your loss, I know how close you and your mom were. May all of your memories carry you through the sad times. I know she would want you to carry on her smile. Love and hugs, Paula Woods
Faithfully, every Monday , Andrea and 3-4 of her friends from the Aptos Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, gathered to do what is called “phone witnessing “. Once Andrea said to me “ I wish I could go with the others from house to house”. I told her that by telephone she was! Even better she was able to leave a message or have a comforting conversation with those she spoke to! It was always a time of joy! Andrea’s smile came through during those brief conversations! She is sorely missed!
I have so many great memories of fun times spent with my Auntie Andrea! She was always exuberant, fun loving and passionate! Good times were had with this sweet Auntie of mine. From my childhood thru adult years my memories are flooded with good times spent with Auntie Andrea! I always knew that fun times were ahead when Auntie was around. You will be greatly missed Auntie. You will live on in my memories and in my heart. ❤ Thank you for making my childhood a fun filled delight. Until we see each other again......I love you and miss you. You will be greatly missed! Rest in Peace!!
I always loved going on outings with mom. People were naturally drawn to her spirited energy. Whether it was in a grocery store, in an elevator, in a doctor's office or simply walking down the street. There was something about her, a spark, that inspired people to want to engage and laugh together. Even a trip to the local pet store was a BIG ADVENTURE. People could hear her laughter throughout the store and asked "Where's the party?!"
My Sister Andrea and I would have so much fun meeting at our Mom’s in Oregon. One nite after taking Mom home, we went crusing around our hotel, windows up singing as loud as we can, “We are Family.” I will love my big Sis forever.
One of my favorite traditions mom had was every year when The Sound of Music was on tv, everyone came over and we had snacks and watched it together. I watch it with the girls now and that is one of our favorite movies and love the music 💖 thx mom!
