Wow…so sad I waited so long to reach out to reconnect with Andrea. Knew her as a kid and she was such a wonderful, amazing, joyful person. I waited too long to reach out and missed the chance to reconnect…hard, sad lesson

Wish I had on line pics, but being over 60, it gives me a handicap!!!   I loved all the memories of camping, hiking, and fire building we had together as a family.   My mom was a protector of us if anyone tried to hurt us, or bruise our development.   Her spirit was one in a million!  Love!!

Andrea was our neighbor for 15 years. During that time, we became friends. One of my favorite memories was when my late husband, John, would come in and tell me that his day just got lots better (he was a mechanic and spent hours in the backyard tinkering on cars) because he heard Andrea’s infectious laugh. That laugh was better than the baby birds chirping in springtime, my favorite song, falling rain, hearing the ocean waves at night......! Her laughter was one of the best sounds in life. Her positivity was also very noticeable and certainly appreciated! Even after she got sick.
My husband got cancer and was very ill in hospice care and Andrea’s laughter comforted him. He would sit up , put his cupped hand to his ear and say “Shhhh. There she is. Listen. It’s Andrea.” And I’ll never forget the look on his face. She warmed his heart and soothed him just by being her! She was sick then too. I would visit often as her Illness worsened. I sang “You are my sunshine” in my bad singing voice and she’d sing along when she could. I doodled hearts and butterflies on her whiteboard. She made me happy every time I saw her. I can honestly say that she was the happiest and most positive soul I’ve ever been blessed to meet.
In the face of a dreadful and terminal health situation with round the clock caregivers, she was a bright beacon of hope and happiness in a very dark place. Very bright. She was an absolute delight.
Id also like to give my condolences to her daughter, Sharon, whose energy level made the energizer bunny look lazy, Sharon was, and is, the epitome of what love, caring, support and strength can do for a patient. Sharon stood by her mom with diligence. She advocated for Andrea when no one else would. Sharon extended her mother’s life by at least a year - possibly five. What I witnessed Sharon do for Andrea was and is a lesson of total love and how it can change anything for the better. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, I used Sharon’s example as my guide. I was able to do something very similar to what she did. My mom benefitted from Sharon’s undying love for Andrea do I thank her for that. I will forever be changed because of my neighbor, my friend and an absolutely true inspiration, Andrea St. Cyr. I feel so blessed that she was in my life. Now, she’s with me in spirit forever. I love you, Andrea! And I KNOW you’re in heaven looking down sending positivity to us all. If only there were more people like Andrea. Can you imagine......

My dear friend Andrea , I’m so happy to have had the chance to being able to care for you . I enjoyed all the fun times together from lunch at severino’s to our long morning talks drinking our coffee. I miss those times . It was the simple things that made you the happiest.. now you are truly happy and I just know your singing and dancing up there! I love you Andrea until we meet again .. love always Michelle.

What a privilege to read these love stories. And to get to see Andrea at so many different times in her life. What a beauty. And what a thin waist! I'm sorry I can't count myself as a close friend. I worked with Andrea for many years at Becton Dickinson.

I was going to say something about her laugh, but I think it's already been covered! Though, in corporate life cubicle land (which can be pretty dry) there are those laughs you hear down the hallway, that make you smile wide no matter what kind of pressure you're under.

I also remember that when we had a snafu in documentation or labeling, and were at a standstill because none of us knew how to move forward, the answer was more often than not, Let's go see Andrea St. Cyr. And we were never disappointed. Such confidence and grace, and then the spirited laugh. I'm happy and so sad writing this. Love to all of you, Andrea's family and friends.

For 80 years Andrea was my sister and we shared many fun and memorable times together. We sang in a trio in high school; raised our children and grew older together. Living in Aptos with her was a special bonding for us. We would sit at the kitchen table for hours and talk about the good ole days. W e would go to the local drive in for a hot dog and park on the bluff and watch the ocean. In the evening while I prepared dinner Andrea would pick out our tv shows to watch. Golden Girls was always one of them and she would laugh as though it was the first time watching it; more like a dozen times. It was a simple time but so special. Love you Sis and miss you bunches. Your sister, Gloria

My sincere condolences to all the family. Andrea was a bright star and shined every where she went. You met her you loved her. Like everyone has commented, her smile and laughter was only hers and brought joy to those around her. The life she shared with those she loved is insurmountable. Her time spent with her Auntie Frances and the true friendship and love they shared was such a joy to watch. Those two were quite the characters and kept you laughing at their antics. I was blessed to be part of both of their worlds. Andrea will be missed but her joy and love will always be with us.

Andrea always made us smile. We were the ones cheered after a visit. She had a beautiful smile but I loved her loud contagious laugh and I love seeing youthful pictures of her. She is "sheltered in place" in best place-Jehovah's memory
I loved when I was a teenager and it was a rainy weekend. Mom would make goodies for us and we would spend the day doing puzzles or scrabble together 💝
