I think of you often and miss you dearly.
It's been just over 10 years …
2015, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA) conference
It's been just over 10 years since you came into my life. You were a inspiration and amazing friend. It is hard to believe its been a year. — with Andre Duncan Sr.
Andre Duncan was my favorite teacher at Anna High School; every day, you could see how passionate he was about what he did. He would treat everyone like his own. When he died, I got so sad. He was such an amazing person. There will never be anyone as awesome as him... Fly High, Mr. Duncan. I miss you.

Dani - Although I never met Andre, the postings shared by others provide a glimpse into the type of loving, sharing husband and man he was.

Warm regards,

Kai

My condolences to Andre's family. I first met Andre when his son introduced me to him at school. I would often chill in his classroom and just listen to his conversations he would have with students and he would be comforting as well as guiding with his words. He was like a second Dad to me and he would get along great with others. I never got the chance to tell him goodbye in person. I love you Pops and I pray you are flying high.
My brother and I have always kept our bond, although not vis-a-vis, but by phone, text and most importantly in our hearts. I will miss him dearly; his beautiful, comforting voice always offering words of wisdom and a window to his beautiful soul. Baby Brother, I thank God you are free from the many struggles of this life you endured with pride & strength, always putting your concern for others before your own. I will forever hold our memories close to my heart. I love you. Be at peace.

Although my heart is heavy, it is also grateful for the honor and the privilege that the Lord blessed us with in sharing in the life of our son in law, Andre Duncan Sr.  Words cannot express the joy and the amazing impact that he left on us and all that knew him. A wonderful husband, father, son, sibling and friend to so many. What a legacy he has left us with. A man of God, filled with love, integrity, humility and compassion. Thank you Lord for blessing us with this wonderful man. Rest my Son in the Loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love you.

Boss was one of my biggest supporters and an inspiration in so many ways. It's still very surreal to remember he's not physically here anymore. But the gifts, wisdom, & family he's brought into my life, will always be treasured. I just hope I can do him justice in the years to come.
