Dear Engler Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Death is something that deeply affects us all. It takes away those we love most. But the Bible gives us a comforting picture in John 11:11, where Jesus compares death to a peaceful sleep. Just as we naturally wake up from sleep, Jehovah promises to wake our loved ones from death. In Acts 24:15, we’re reminded of the beautiful hope that God has given us the hope of the resurrection. May this hope bring you comfort and strength as you look forward to the day you’ll see Anastacia again.

I thank you for sharing such a beautiful life with our team. My practice in my life as a Neuro-Oncologist won't be the same since meeting Ana, she taught us, bravery, determination, and the victory of a young spirit equipped with tenacity, boldness to move forward despite the challenge. She did it on her terms, and for that I am changed. I am. I am more on purpose than ever before.

Proud to have been her doctor. She will be honored the BrainStorm Cancer Arizona event on May 11, 2024 that is taken place at the Buttes Hotel in Tempe AZ.

Ana was one of the reasons I was able to look forward to the start of my days freshman and sophomore year in art. I miss her unique humor and amazing mind. She’s truly made an impact on my life from 8th grade to high school. I’ll never forget all the academic team trips and inside jokes. She made beautiful art. It was never hard to love Ana because she made the people around her not only laugh but want to discover more about the world.

Although Ana and I had not been close while she was sick we were very close friends for a long time. Ana helped me on my worst days and was always there to support me. I will always treasure the friendship we had together and the many memories we got to share. She was truly loved
