Mark, Ryan, and Megan,
A few things that come to mind when we think of Alice: She was THE best social director and always managed to include people from all corners of her life. She had wise, common sense advice for any issue. I don’t know anyone that was as lucky at winning free concert tickets as she was. She was busy making memories for her family and friends throughout her battle. She was a warrior.
Mike and I will miss the light that Alice brought to our lives.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. Psalm 116.15
Alice was a precious friend and sister in the Lord. God did amazing work in how quickly He developed our friendship. But then again, He had a lot to work with, because of all the wonderful gifts He gave Alice. Alice was a hoot! She was refreshingly unpretentious and genuine. She has gifts of hospitality, acceptance, and kindness. Like including me in some of her fun social activities. She has a big kind heart and was considerate and compassionate of all kinds of people. Even amid battling her own sickness, she would always come to our Bible study with a long list of people to pray for.
I will miss our lunch talks. We shared a love for Jesus and a fierce love for our families.
But one day we’ll sit together again at God’s big banquet table. I’ll look into her eyes… and she’ll make some wisecrack.

My mom and I are so sorry for your loss. Her smile , energy and fun personality will be missed but never forgotten. I have never felt as comfortable with people who I had only met a couple of times as I did with Alice and Mark at the Punta Cana wedding . You will be missed by many and you were truly a great person who will never be forgotten.

John 14:2 For in His house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go before you to prepare a place for you, so that where you are, I will be also. Alice believed this with all her heart. We will miss her terribly. We will remember her ability to live each minute and enjoy this beautiful life that God has blessed her with. I will remember her smile, laughter and her ability to open her home to so many. We will miss her so much. My hearts break for you, Mark and Ryan. I am sooo sorry for your loss. Much love and hugs during this time. Fond memories forever. The last thing I told Alice was "I will see you again, my friend". She smiled and nodded. She knew where she was going. God's blessing to all.

Mark, Ryan, Megan, and family, We are so sorry to hear about Alice's passing. She was a wonderful lady, and always went out of her way to come see us anytime she was around at any gatherings. She built more than a lifetime's worth of memories with you that will last forever, and know that even though she has passed she is still with you and your family each day. Alice was one of the kindest and most thoughtful women I've ever had the privilege of working beside. She was always of good cheer, always had a ready smile, and always remembered my birthday when my "big day" would roll around every year. She could light up the room just by walking in the door.
She will be sadly missed by all of us.
