It is with tears in our eyes that we are writing this today.. Our dear friend Alex is no longer with us. Alex passed on Friday Oct. 1 in his home. Although we sensed his battle with cancer was coming to a close, it was still a shock for all of us.

Alex never gave up and was courageously fighting cancer for the last 3 years up until his final days. Although he didn’t have a lot of family, he did have a lot of incredible friends who supported him throughout these rough times. Alex was so grateful to each and every one of you who was there for him. 

Alex was a talented musician, writer and a comedian at heart, his ability to make us laugh and his humor is still helping us to get through this difficult time.

Alex was a loving and beloved son and an incredible friend to many of us. He always found a way to help others, through his kind words and good deeds and he was always sincere in his actions.

Alex was one of those rare people who we call "pure at heart", he kept his optimistic spirit up until his very last days.
