Nanna was always there for me. When I was little she treated me as her daughter. She took me to church on Sunday’s. She took me to the diner once a month and she ordered me french toast. She did u turns for any good yard sale. She took me to yard sales often. When she lived with us she cooked amazing food, spaghetti was my favorite. She drove a green Chevy Nova named Betsy. She would always watch the WWE network… wrestling was always a sleepover favorite, along with the Jeffersons. Christmas at Nanna’s house was never a dull moment. As she got older, she loved everyone no matter what. She never spoke ill of anyone. There was one person she did not want to see anymore, yet she never spoke ill of her, she just never wanted to see her again. Her laugh was very memorable. She loved getting her hair and nails done. WAWA coffee and Chinese food.. egg foo yung. As a child she sang me the song I love you a bushel and peck and bounced me on her knee. She told us all we were her favorite. She had a way no matter who you are to make you feel loved. She would even touch the lives of her caregivers, making her their favorite resident. Her favorite flowers were Lilies. I will really miss my Nanna. It’s like losing a mother to me. I could talk to her about anything. She was an open book full of advice and amazing stories… like she was a race car driver! I have many photos I will slowly share photos in honor of memories with the hopes that family will visit to see what photo will be posted next. Nanna I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. I miss you!
