It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of my mother Alberta Gleason. Alberta is survived by her Son David & his wife Irene, her grandchildren; David Jr., Julia, Kiana, Christopher, Jennifer, Matthew, Heather, Tia, & Nicole 9 great-grandchildren & several great-great-grandchildren. Alberta is predeceased by her daughter Valerie & her son Robert along with Robert’s children Andrea & Jason, her brother David & her brother Larry. Alberta was raised in the Onondaga Nation Indian Territory in Lafayette, NY, Alberta is Iroquois & her father was on the counsel of the 6 tribes. In her final conversation with her son David, she requested to be taken home to the reservation & to see her other two children again. Alberta was a devoted Christian throughout her whole life. She learned from a young age to praise the lord in times of trouble or abundance. Her favorite scripture was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".  While her loved ones on earth are suffering, we find comfort in knowing her heavenly homecoming will be grand.
