Smitty, was always figuring out ways to get the Hershey Team Motivated. One year he asked me how much money I had in my wallet. I happened to have about $500 in 20's and $100's. He said "let me have it" I said for what? He said you want a motivated team to sell and it will only cost you $500? I said what are you going to do? He said, "you'll see. He got the team together before the RV Show started and started cheering the entire group on about making money. He yelled out to them do you want make money? DO YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY?" The first person that said yes,  he threw them $100. They all went nuts, then he started throwing out $20's and they went crazy!. That became the catalyst for us to have the best Hershey RV Show in the Jayco display to date! I miss my friend. I missed him in Hershey 2021, everyone did. Everyone loved Smitty. Because he loved Jesus, I know I will see him again.

Alan was my brother from another mother. Fun memories while working at the upholstery shop after High School. Delivering furniture in the old black Chevy shop truck. Listening (and singing to) Elvis Pressley on 8 track. Opinionated  sometimes stubborn, he held his ground with a kind heart. He also knew his "stuff". A great family man, person and forever friend. Alan will be missed.

I was in Yuma on August 19 to spend time with him and be there for him during his first treatment. I was there from the time he went in the hospital until his last breath. Never left your side just like you never left my side.
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Alan?"

So many memories with my dad …
So many memories with my dad from being his little baby. I remember camping trips, 4th of July fireworks, hunting trips where dad chased Heidi his dog back and forth as my brother and I sat there laughing, halloween party on D street, scaring us with his Frankstein mask, traveling with him to RV shows, watching reruns of Rifleman, Bonanza, Gunsmoke but especially show of John Wayne, Raiders game eating Sardines with Cheezit, him giving me away at my wedding, all the Tea Parties he had with his grandchildren but the best memory is how he was always there to give me a hug.
