You know, there are people in life that we just like to be around. Al is one of those guys. He will surely be missed. This old world is not as good as it was with him in it. Comfort and heart peace to the family.

Al poured into everyone he met and we were better for it. I called  him our Wordsmith as he wrote, prayed and spoke so eloquently. He had such a beautiful Minnesota smile but it was as big as Texas! His goodness and willingness to help others was limitless. So quiet and humble and oh how he loved his family --so very proud of each of you. He beamed! You are my friends/extended family and I cherish each of you.

The impact he had on my life will be forever imprinted--his heart was pure gold and so true with an unwavering faith. Janette, there are no words-my heart and prayers are with you and yours . He leaves such a beautiful legacy.

Miss you sweet friend...until we meet again. Much love, Sherry ❤️

Jannette, Megan and Jacob,

You already know your father was larger than life and will live on in you. He was truly unique could always light up a room with his infectious enthusiasm, storytelling and outlook on life. We have great memories and will forever tell stories about Big Al which will keep him in our hearts.

God Bless,

Mark Murphy

So sorry for your family's loss 💔 I've known Al since his freshman year at St. Thomas. And thankfully we had reconnected via Facebook these past several years. Great guy who loved the Lord and his family. May God Bless 🙌 🙏

I am so sorry for your loss.  I went to high school with Al and remember him as a really nice guy! Hold on to your memories and may you find comfort knowing he is home with our Lord!

Al was an amazing husband, father, friend and just overall person. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for. He will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know him. My heart hurts for the emptiness his family is feeling now. He will always be with you in your hearts and memories.
With sincere sympathy, Al was a classmate and our lockers were close by. He was always friendly and a great guy with a smile from ear to ear. May all your memories give you comfort during this difficult time! So very sorry for your loss!
