I am looking forward to the day of the Lord's return, to see my good friend Simmy again. Until then, God be with us all.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”

Your departure is still bleak to me. I got to know in 2005 of your condition and you went into remission. We forgot about it and 2019 became a roller coaster year for you. Yet you were resolute that it is all under control. You put up a brave face full of smiles and gave me hope. Even when you were lying in hospital you would call me and tease me. We would laugh uncontrollably. Am sorry my friend, an apple a day as I promised you, did not keep you away from the doctors. Today at your memorial service your Brotherhood club said everything I knew of you. My heart broke for Mma May and the handsome, intelligent son of Lebala, Loatile
Rest easy my brother
Rest in Power and Rise Gloriously

We have lost a great man. RIP senior counsel. We will seek to honour your memory in our practices. Your wisdom will be missed.
Our roads crossed on more than one level And on each and every level I remember one distictive thing: Respect You treated me and those around you with respect Even in disagreements The utmost respect you had for those around you It speaks volumes !

Oh and the passion you had for what you believed in! If I can have only half of your passion I will be a great soul

Rest in Power Simmy! You are already dearly missed

What a loss to the legal fraternity. We wish the Lebala Family our sincere and deepest condolences for the loss of their beloved son. He has run the race. May his soul rest in eternal Peace.
Advocate Lebala was a good man. He lived his life to the fullest, and embraced everybody that walked into his life. He would "high five" you 10 times in the space of 5 minutes during a conversation, and that's how he connected with people. Always ready to help and give advice on anything about life.

A life well-lived!

Rest in Peace, my brother!
Simmy ran the race and leaves behind legacy written with indelible ink in the hearts of those whose lives impacted positively. Soft spoken with modulated tone, that was Simmy I knew from our days as students at Ongoye. Heartfelt condolences to the beloved ones. May his soul find eternal rest and rise in the glory of Christ. Deepest condolences to the family, friends and to members of the legal fraternity at large (colleagues/learned friends). May the departed soul of our beloved brother repose peacefully.
Grace and mercy I plead. Pat Wa Motsepe Snr
Adv Lebala I will always remember your kindness, humble and respectful nature. You addressed me as 'Busi my sister' each time we conversed making me feel like a cherished little sister. You had a sharp mind, sense of humour, loved flowery / complex words and always gave an ear. You will be missed, may you rest in eternal peace ❤️
